Ernesto Francisco Simó-Alfonso received his PhD degree from University of Valencia in 1992. During 1994–1996, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Chemistry, University of Milano (Italy). Since 2011, he is Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry. He is author of over 150 research papers in indexed international journals and he has published three book chapters. His research interests cover the areas of capillary electroseparation techniques, food authentication and food additives, surfactant analysis and quality control of cleaning products, and new materials for separation techniques and bio-analysis purposes.
