Doo Soo Chung is an analytical chemistry professor at the Department of Chemistry, Seoul National University since 1995. He obtained a B.S and an M.S. degree in chemistry at Seoul National University in 1981 and 1983, respectively. Then he obtained an A.M degree in physics and a Ph.D. degree in chemical physics at Harvard University in 1986 and 1991, respectively. He has been working on a variety of topics ranging from photophoresis which controls the motion of molecules with light, to bioanalytical techniques such as capillary electrophoresis. Examples are single drop microextraction, in-tube microextraction, and liquid extraction surface analysis which are in-line coupled with capillary electrophoresis as sample pretreatment techniques for automatic sample cleanup and preconcentration.
Keynote Lecture: Sensitive determination of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in urine using 3-phase direct immersion single drop microextraction in-line coupled with capillary electrophoresis
