Dr. Mingliang Ye obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Hanfa Zou at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), in 2001, and worked as postdoctoral fellows under the supervision of Prof. Norman Dovichi at the University of Washington, USA (2001.11-2003.3), and Prof. Reudi Aebersold at the Institute for System Biology, USA (2003.3-2004.10). In November of 2004, he came back to China and worked with Prof. Zou in DICP to develop new methods and technologies for proteomics analysis. He was supported by “Hundreds of Talents” plan by CAS (2005). Now he is a full professor in DICP and deputy director of CAS Key Laboratory of Separation Science for Analytical Chemistry. He published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers in SCI journals. He won a number of awards including “Presidential Special Award for Graduate Student” by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2001), First-Class Award for Natural Sciences by Liaoning Province in 2011 (third place), Second-Class Award for State Natural Sciences in 2012 (the third place), Excellent Young Scientist Funding awarded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2015. Currently his research interesting is mainly focused on developing new methods for the analysis of protein post-translational modifications and their applications in translational medicine.
